 Hello everyone.


 

My name is Adam. I moved to the UK from Poland in the past year. So my English still isn't good enough. But I really trying to improve it communicating with people, reading and watching news by social media, and writing some thoughts on what's going on. I am very concerned about current events happening in Great Britain. So I decided to make a blog with weekly news digests from the UK and train my English writing. I'll try to issue blocks with news that seemed interesting to me and some of my thoughts about them each Saturday. 

This is my first test of the pen as a headlines reviewer. I would be appreciated for your opinion and edits in comments.

On Thursday, the UK public continued discussing a figure of former Prime Minister Johnson. This time, it concerned the inquiry into whether he deliberately misled parliament over partygate . This theme gained media attention from domestic and international media. Yet, many of them considered that it could be an end of Johnson's political career.   This day all of us also were able to estimate tax returns of Rishi Sunak and Keir Starmer ... On Sunday , British Government suddenly remembered about vile grooming gangs molester young girls in several UK regions and decided to take measures against them, years later the first complaints came; Passport Office workers began five-week strike from Monday in row over jobs, pay and pensions; Britons got infuriated by the question by the Tory MP, why not take a holiday break in the UK to avoid the delays into France? And do not forget Suella Braverman with her 'milking loophole.' On Monday , Rishi Sunak told what he announced to tell a day ago, we learned about criminal proceeding initiated because of an elderly lady's death of hypothermia last December, and Royal Mail apologized for 'nasty' April Fool's Day prank telling striking staff everyone was getting an 11% pay rise.
