This Wednesday Britons grieved with the world over great Swiss-American singer Tine Turner, one of rock’s most famous voices who has died at the age of 83 after a long illness.

Also this Wednesday, it came to known that Suella Braverman won’t face investigation over speeding row.

The Home Secretary will not face an investigation over whether she broke the ministerial code by involving civil servants in a bid to avoid a public speed awareness course, Downing Street confirmed on Wednesday.

In a letter to Suella Braverman, Rishi Sunak said he had conferred with his independent adviser on ministerial interests and determined no formal probe was necessary.

"Just wait til more information is leaked showing she did breach the code and he would have known or should have known before making this decision.

What a weak, feeble little man he really is."

"I’m glad he didn’t get rid of her. She’s a liability and I for one am enjoying the shit show. We needn’t do anything here, let the Tories drive themselves into the ground."

"The country doesn’t really care. That’s the problem. If this had been any other party, the ratings would’ve been in the toilet. But they’re actually improving. The U.K. electorate wants more shit show."

"I blame our biased or ineffectual media. Something needs to be done urgently about tax dodging foreign billionaires publishing lies when the Tories are out."

On Wednesday as well, the Guardian reported that 10% of Tory MPs have announced plans to retire at next UK election.

Approximately 10% of Conservative MPs have announced plans to retire at the next election, sparking suggestions that they are jumping ship in the expectation of losing the next election.

Having resigned as justice secretary over bullying claims, Dominic Raab is the latest high-profile Tory politician to confirm they are serving their final term in parliament.

This news was met with a bit of sarcasm:

"Jump before you're pushed and you can pretend it was all your idea, good riddance to the lot of them."

"Then they can spend they rest of their lives appearing on BBC politics shows pretending they are competent and saying "well yes we lost that election but if I had been in the running it would have been different..."

"I don't blame them really. They have all worked really hard to Make Britain Great Again but have been thwarted at every turn by activist civil servants, lefty London lawyers, the BBC, wokerati, Gary Lineker, un-elected judges, the EU, the Arch Bishop of Canterbury, the French, Joe Biden, the entire population of the London borough of Islington, the blob, the European (!!!!!) Court of Human Rights, err Human Rights themselves, and ungrateful anti-monarchists who should just leave if they don't LOVE are country and are flag.

With that kind of opposition it's not surprising that their only option now is writing pieces in the Mail about the mess Labour will/are making and how the party of taking responsibility for your own actions are needed now more than ever."

"You forgot the extreme left forex traders and hedge fund managers who foiled noble Liz Truss's 'proper conservative' budget."

"And amazingly forgot the Labour party in that blob of Will of the People thwarting bastards."

On Wednesday either, equality watchdog head Baroness Falkner investigated over complaints.

The claims against Baroness Falkner, and other members of the Equality and Human Rights Commission (EHRC) board about bullying and discrimination made by staff, were seen by Channel 4 News.

The Redditors were merciless:

"The head of the equalities watchdog referred to a trans woman, who at the time was being harassed and sent death threats, as a "man in lipstick". It is clear that she is completely unfit for the job. Funny that the BBC left that bit out.

Any claim she has made about caring for the wellbeing of trans people has obviously been a cynical lie.

With all the other issues on display, it's clear that in a few short years the government has callously gutted an institution meant to protect the most vulnerable. It is now nothing more than a rubber stamp."

"Kind of ironic having a Baron be the head of an equality watchdog..."
