On Sunday, despite Saturday complaints of the Web users, meteorologists claimed the hottest day of year this week as widespread sunshine predicted.

Met Office meteorologist Greg Dewhurst said: "There will be lots of dry weather, with the sunnier skies always in the west and cloudier skies always in the east.

"Going forward, temperatures are going to be similar if not a little bit higher towards the end of the week.

"This west-east split will be continuing with temperatures as well, so in western parts of the UK, temperatures will rise to around the mid-20s while the eastern side of the UK is more likely to see mid to high teens.

"Particularly on the coast, it will remain quite chilly in the east and quite cloudy at times."

Meanwhile, England 'not ready' for extreme heat.

Some of the most far-looking readers wrote:

"England not prepared to deal with 2023 summer heatwaves? How about, England not prepared to deal with excess deaths from cold this coming winter due to reliance on renewable energy."

"Each year in England and Wales, there were on average nearly 800 excess deaths associated with heat and over 60,500 associated with cold, according to a new study published in The Lancet Planetary Health."

"A big help would be if advertising platforms like newsquest didn't employ "SEO journalists" LOL to google for and then syndicate "heat wave" hysteria for weather that it average for the time of year. Just so they can get clicks for advertising revenue."

Also on Sunday,  the Daily Mail reported about the Rishi Sunak's intention to outline his vision for Britain to take the world lead in policing AI threats when he meets Joe Biden this week.

The Prime Minister is looking to launch a global AI watchdog in London and hopes to host an international summit to devise rules on AI regulation.

He will discuss the proposals with the US president during talks at the White House. Mr Sunak is visiting Washington DC on Tuesday for discussions with Mr Biden on Ukraine and security but AI will also be ‘high up’ on the agenda.

The Daily Mail readers harshly criticized the Prim Minister in their most likened comments:

"He can't even send the illegals back." - "Dont be silly they're his family."

"How about delivering what you pledged to do first."

"Sunak recently mentioned to invest a further 100m boosting UK's AI capacity. The British AI will incompatible to the European AI on purpose and only have the option to turn up the volume in the case of communication issues. It will also drive on the other side of circuit board."

"Sunak's plan is clear. Do NOTHING AT ALL but talk BIG about what you are GOING to do...."

"The U.K. government would benefit immensely from artificial intelligence because it certainly hasn't got any real intelligence"

On Sunday once again, Immigration Minister Robert Jenrick has said that the Government must not curtail free speech, in the wake of The Telegraph's revelations that it set up a secret unit to curb criticism of lockdown. The Counter-Disinformation Unit worked with social media companies to curtail criticism of lockdown policies during the pandemic.

 That statement raised just questions:

"So why do we keep seeing ridiculous reports of people being investigated by the police for "hate speech"?"

"What's he on about? There is no free speech in the UK. There's a myriad of laws (often loosely interpreted by the police) controlling what ppl are allowed to say. We have no equivalent of the US 1st amendment."

and made us a bit of laugh for "I do find it hilarious when a Government Minister says the Government must not do something the Government has done!"
