On Tuesday, the Bank England economist told everyone that British households and businesses “need to accept” they are poorer and stop seeking pay increases and pushing prices higher.

I'm not sure, if that was an implicit message for stirring more discontent. Yet, people started pointing fingers.

The most liked comment on Reddit runs, "To be more specific, tories made them poorer."

Brexit was on the second place to be blamed for. "Britons need to accept that brexit has made them poorer, only then can we start have serious discussions about if it was worth it and what sort of future relationship we want with the EU."

"To be specific Tories + UKIP + Brexit Party + Reform UK made them poorer. Don’t let the shits like Richard Tice, Nigel Farage and Aaron Banks off with this."

On Tuesday, we also learned that government strengthened plans to tackle sewage after Labour pressure. Targets to eliminate sewage dumping in England’s rivers by 2050 will become legally binding.

Therese Coffey, the Environment Secretary, said the new plans would put water company targets “on a new legal footing”.

Yet, the Telegraph readers didn't consider those measures  sufficient.

"2050? That's 27 more years of dumping, bonus collecting and swimming bans. I suppose you can say that the water companies have been put on notice. Change of working practice needs... minor attention, prior to the sell-off, which will inevitably come before their profits start to dwindle."

"I just cannot see what the problem is. We have offwat and we have recognisable corporate entities owning the water companies. They should be hammered until they either sort it out or give the water back to public ownership."

"Most people on here, including me, will probably be dead by then! "

But the Daily Mail gave us a chance to look at some of Britain's best street decorations ahead of King Charles' Coronation.

Those decorations are made from the hearts of Britons. Still, "In amongst us is a tiny, tiny little group of people who are prepared to try and spoil the enjoyment of a majority of people who are proud of the country they live in." - "What enjoyment? You are celebrating a family who get richer and grace and favours on the UK taxpayers expense. What is their role exactly? They dont have super powers, can heal the lame just by touching them or anything spectacular. His kno b head son is a forking embarrassment but then again so was he and his brothers to the Queen over the decades too. I always had respect for the Queen because she was so well liked across the world even by people who are not royalists, she had charm and grace and helped build relations as she was always willing to go and cheer on this country but now she has gone so has the class and usefulness of the RF."

"The creativity and effort gone into some of these creations is amazing. Even if you don't like the RF give credit to the talent of those who created these things. Well done to all. I wish I was that talented."

"Fed up with the coronation already."
